The popularity of online dating services have not eliminated matchmaking services. Instead they have simply modernized these services by putting them online. These services will charge a fee, just like online dating services, however, who they charge and what they charge is going to depend on the focus of the site.
Matchmakers offer more than just dating profiles, they offer solid relationship advice based on their experience. This advice can make dating after divorce easier to do and more successful. However, just like any other post-divorce advice, take it with a grain of salt and do what you think is right for you.
